- Pre­da­tors defen­se­man Dan Hamhuis is the team’s nomi­na­tion for the King Clancy Memo­rial Trophy, given to the pla­yer who best exem­pli­fies lea­dership qua­li­ties on and off the ice and has made a note­worthy huma­ni­ta­rian con­tri­bu­tion in his community.

The Clancy nomi­na­tion comes from a vote by the pla­yers. The league-wide win­ner will be cho­sen by a panel of repre­sen­ta­ti­ves from the NHL Pla­yers’ Asso­cia­tion and the NHL Broad­cas­ters’ Association.

- The injury that side­li­ned Patric Hornq­vist for Games 2 through 5 of the Pre­da­tors’ pla­yoff series was a bro­ken left hand.

Hornq­vist suf­fe­red in the injury in the second-to-last game of the sea­son, but the Pre­da­tors refe­rred to it only as an upper-body injury. Hornq­vist pla­yed in part of Game 1 against Chi­cago, but the con­di­tion of the injury deteriorated.
